This is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School and the Renaissance Program.
There is a lot happening across our campus this week, and we have much to celebrate!
Beginning Tuesday, September 15, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. We are proud to celebrate the culture, heritage, and contributions of our Hispanic students, families, and community. At the same time, we will celebrate our Warrior Pride during Homecoming Week and Spirit Week!
The week will culminate with Homefest and the Homecoming Game on Friday, followed by our Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 19.
Homecoming Dance tickets will be available for purchase during lunch Tuesday–Thursday for $20, cash only. Students must present their student ID and be in good standing to purchase a ticket. Students and families are encouraged to participate in and enjoy all of the festivities planned throughout the week. Be sure to check this week's Sunday Newsletter for all Spirit Week themes and activities.
Please note that students will be released early on Friday, September 18 at 1:00 p.m. Car riders should plan accordingly and should not remain on campus after 1:05 p.m.
Please also remember that the Renaissance school day begins promptly at 9:15 a.m. Students should arrive on time and enter through Door 40. Students arriving after 9:15 must enter through Door 1 and complete the check-in process.
Safety & Security
Parents and families, please remember that the safety and security of our students and staff is always our top priority.
We are asking for your partnership in having ongoing conversations with your student about the dangers and consequences associated with vaping, gummies, and other recreational drugs.
Students found in violation of school expectations are subject to consequences clearly outlined in our Student Success Handbook. Please help us keep our building safe by being aware of what your student is bringing to and from school.
If you notice something that seems out of the norm or raises a concern, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to the school. When it comes to safety, we would always rather know than not know.
