New book depicts the heart-pounding tale of a serial killer who can predict the future

While the ability to gaze into the future may look cool on paper, in real life, it’s a more grim and morbid subject. “The Angel Maker” is a horror fiction novel that tells the story of a pair of siblings who were encircled into a series of gruesome murders.

The book begins by telling the reader that Katie Shaw, one of the main protagonists, had a great life - big dreams, a devoted boyfriend and a little brother she’d protect fiercely. Or, she used to, until an incident occured with a violent stranger. Years later, Katie still has trouble trying to overcome her grief surrounding her little brother. She later receives a phone call that explains what happened to him - he went missing and it was up to her to help find him. Meanwhile, Detective Laurence Page was tasked with solving the murder of a distinguished professor who spoke of fate and free will, right after firing all the members of his staff. As the case continues, the detective then sees that every lead he has pointed back to two cases: The attack on Christopher Shaw - Katie Shaw’s brother - and the crimes of a serial killer who could “see the future.”

Alex North, the writer of “The Angel Maker,” is an internationally bestselling British author for crime and thriller stories. He’s known for his book “The Whisper Man,” a story about how a pair of detectives must stop a infamous serial killer before he lures and kills a widowed father’s son. The story was inspired by Alex North’s son, who mentioned one day that he was playing with “the boy in the floor.” Some of the other stories Alex has made are “The Shadows,” “Afraid of the Light,” and “The Half Burnt House.”

All and all, “The Angel Maker,” is an excellent book for those who want to feel their heart race and their anxiety spike as they read it in its entirety - page by page. It’s available to purchase on Amazon, for $23.99 and $28.99 for a hardcover of the book.
